Founded on 24th November 1964, the Rourkela Local Centre has grown from humble beginnings into a vibrant hub of engineering excellence and professional growth. From a single office room, it has evolved into a comprehensive facility that caters to the needs of engineers and the community alike.

Our building, inaugurated on 28th March 1993, has become a prominent landmark in Rourkela. Each space within the center has been thoughtfully designed to serve our members and guests, supporting a wide range of professional activities and fostering a sense of community.

Key Facilities

• Administrative Wing:
  The administrative offices of the Chairman and Honorary Secretary form the operational core of the center. These spaces are where the center’s key decisions and activities are planned and executed, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations.

• Library:
  Our library is a treasure trove of knowledge, featuring a collection of over 3,500 technical books and articles. It provides a serene space for research, study, and personal development, catering to both our members and aspiring engineers.

• Seminar Hall:
